Very relaxed atmosphere. Staff welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Very close to Inverness but quiet

Room was a little noisy as directly under water supply tanks for house. Therefore early morning wake up !!

The setting, the hotel itself and the staff. The warm atmosphere of the drawing room.

The castle was beautiful, sitting right on the bay overlooking the water we got to see a spectacular sunset. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were really helpful with any requests we had and were more than happy to provide any additional requests, for example I requested champagne at the time of booking.

The room was nice and friendly staff. Beautiful location on shore side. Breakfast was good.

That awful old master portrait as you walked in the place - it made the place feel spooky and for me spoilt the atmosphere.

EVERYTHING. Staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Knowledgable and very friendly. Food was excellent. Situation was idyllic and only a few minutes from Inverness. Will return as soon as we are able.

The scenery was delightful, it was next to a river or water and a place where you can sit and relax. It is very comfortable and has a homely feeling to it. The staff are very attentive and welcoming. The Chef if he is able to do so is prepared to cook according to your needs as much as possible. I had to book for work related reasons but will like to go for a relaxed weekend away and would recommend it for that reason.

This pretty country house hotel, set in wooded grounds, has the most fantastic location right on the side of a beautiful loch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was well presented and delicious. The views from the dining room were superb. The bedrooms are interestingly decorated with period furniture, curtains etc, four poster bed [ so big it needed a step to get into it ! ]. The bathrooms are not over luxurious but quite adequate. Not cheap, but worth it.

We were looking for a hotel in which to celebrate my Birthday and Bunchrew House Hotel hit the spot. From the moment we arrived and were greeted at reception and shown around the hotel rooms before being taken to our bedroom. Once we entered our bedroom we were immediatley impressed with the views out of the window of the Beauly Firth. What a fantastic location. We dined at the hotel that evening and decided to have the 5 course meal which turned out to be one of the best dinners we have had in a long while. The staff were both friendly andd smartly turned out. The lounge with the log fire was a most comfortable room to retire to whilst enjoying our coffee. We also enjoyed the breakfast the following morning and all in all we could not fault Bunchrew House Hotel in any way and we have over the years stayed in quite a few hotels including hotels on the Continent. Well done to the staff and management of Bunchrew House Hotel. We look forward to a return visit. June and Stuart Leese

More like staying in a lovely country house than a hotel. Delightful place with a lot of character and impeccably trained staff. Setting is lovely but worth asking for a loch view room as my bedroom overlooked the main entrance at the rear.

The only slight complaint is that the food is fairly expensive and a little too adventurous. It's wonderfully cooked and presented but the menu requires a little bravery if you, like me, are used to slightly more basic fare! Very nice though.

Highly recommend. Beautiful castle hotel, very nice view and staff, wonderful breakfast, private car park, free wifi in room, Don't miss Dinner - awesome and fantastic. I will stay again. ^_^
